Welcome to MIDIHero! Here you can teach yourself how to play your favorite songs using your USB Keyboard, a MIDI Keyboard or by using the mouse (difficulty=HIGH) or your phone/tablet's touch pad. To start open the options menu below and either pick a song from the dropdown list or load your own MIDI file through the config menu and hit the Play button. Then try to press the keys just as the note enters the horizontal play zone to get the highest score possible! (GOOD LUCK!)
Inputs: USB Keyboard: Use your regular old typing keyboard to play using the layout shown below.
Most PC keyboards will only allow 2 keypresses simultaneously, it's best to find a gaming keyboard with the N-key-Rollover feature to avoid this limitation.
MIDI Keyboard: Use any standard MIDI keyboard, just make sure drivers are installed for them.
